“ In the video « Passage » we see a man jogging in the woods. The video starts with very restless shots, close-ups and fast editing. With every new shot, the camera becomes a bit more stable, takes a little more distance to the man and lasts a few seconds longer – creating space for the spectator to absorb what he sees. Simultaneously with the changing editing style, an attention shift occurs. As time passes our focus shifts from the running man to the world surrounding him. The landscape, the trees, winds and light now become our primary characters. The man is still there, but almost literally echoes away. [...] “
